Privacy, in plain words

Our promise
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- If you start a check, we may email you about your results and follow up about your check. If you tick the separate box, we also send product news. You can switch that off any time.
- If you only answer a check, we hold no contact details for you and we will never contact you.
- Answers from your team are combined. The person who started the check never sees an individual answer.
If you start a check
You are the account holder. Here is everything we keep about you and why.

We may use your email to reach out about your results, to answer a question, or to offer help running a session with your team. That is the "further inquiry" we mean. We do not use it for anything else unless you tick the product news box.
If you answer a check
You are asked for fifteen ratings from 1 to 5. That is all.
- Stored: your fifteen ratings, and a random code made for this one check. The code only lets you change your answers later and stops the same person answering twice. It is kept in your browser storage on your device (not a cookie), and only a scrambled version of it is kept on our side.
- Not stored: your name, email, team, the time you answered, your IP address or your device details.
- What the account holder sees: group averages, and only once enough people have answered (at least 5). Detail by statement appears only with 8 or more answers. Results update a few times, not on every answer, so one person's answer cannot be spotted by watching the numbers move.
- This page loads no analytics, no advertising and no outside fonts or scripts.
- You do not have to take part. There is a button on the page for that, and nothing is recorded.
Because we hold nothing that identifies you, we cannot look up, correct or delete an individual's answers afterwards. The check is deleted as a whole, as described below.
Who helps us run it

These providers act on our instructions to run the service. We do not sell data to anyone.
How long we keep things
- A check accepts answers for 30 days, then closes.
- Answers and results are deleted 90 days after a check closes.
- Account holder details are deleted 24 months after sign-up if you have no active check. You can delete everything sooner (see below).
- If you asked us to contact you about a facilitated session for a small team, we keep that request for up to 24 months.
Your choices
Analytics on our website
- Download your data: on your private owner page, choose "Download my data".
- Delete your data: on the same page, "Delete this check" removes the check and every answer, and "Delete everything, including my email" removes you from our records too.
- Product news: a switch on the same page. Turning it off is recorded and respected.
- Privacy signals: if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat it as "no" to analytics and do not ask.
- Questions or requests we cannot do from those pages: get in touch here and say it is about privacy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, or move your information, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. The pages above cover access and deletion for account holders directly. For anything else, contact us. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the version at the top. If the change matters for how we use your email, we will tell account holders before it applies to them.
